Does your past ever come back and hunt you?

And you feel like it’s too much to handel?…

Sometimes yes it does. I was abused for most of my childhood and obviously those memories will never ever leave me. People judge me because of that and even some people think its me to blame. They talk about me behind my back and things like that. Obviously I know im not to blame but its hard sometimes when you get those types of people.

Also the other day I heard that my other grandfather (the one on his (my abuser who is now in prison for 12 years) side of the family had died. I had not seen or heard from him in years and he had never bothered about us to begin with. Neither did all my cousins, uncles, aunts etc on that side of the family. They hated us to be honest I think. They never even told us about it, I had to hear it from my soon to be sister in law who lives near him. Apparantly his funeral was yesterday and obviously we were not invited. I did not want to go anyway as I do not have anything to do with that side of the family at all.

This is one of the many ways that it does come back. It reminds me what happened to me and how people can be so predjucided about it. I don’t let it get to me though. Why should I, I am not the one to blame in this. Its a pity though, I wanted answers from him before he died. Maybe he stayed away because he knew what my father was like. But if that was the case then he could have prevented it, he could have stopped it but he didn’t, he just sat back and let things be. Anyway to me, my “grandfather” was just a stranger, I knew nothing about him.
